I have a very sturdy old solid stable wood kitchen chair, that just so

happens to be counter height. Since I am not a cook, I am not there

much, but just for things I DO make, I can sit nicely and comfortable,

no problem. I also have similiar chair in my bath/vanity area. Both I

repainted and decorated and have lightweight chair pads for. Saves the

feet. No need to stand when your feet hurt and you can sit! These old

solid chairs both came from antique shops. Old sturdy furniture and I

get along very well and if I am about to fall, there is something solid

to grab on. ~ Gretchen
