Guest guest Posted October 25, 2001 Report Share Posted October 25, 2001 Yes Jane, ....do get checked every week by your orthotist in the beginning because development of 'pressure points' is one thing they should be looking for. If mine aren't adjusted correctly, I get back pain, hip pain, ankle pain...I'm not saying that you won't have a 'break in' period, but if the pain persists and gets worse you need to have it looked at. I was, indeed, much more stable than ever before. However, I'm curious as to why you would trip over your toes because my leg brace is connected to the footplate and 'locked'. Perhaps you still have strength to lift your foot yourself, but have to be cautious. Do you have to lift your entire leg higher to get toe clearance? I did and it caused much hip fatigue.
