, sure, you can TELL him/her...but it won't make the riba-rage

go away. ROFL. I actually felt homicidal over the stupidest things

while on treatment. Funny, but nearly all of my side effects came

from the Ribavirin, not the interferon.

And once tx is over, you'll hear that same voice come out of you--it

becomes a learned behavior, I guess. I had to work on getting rid

of HER, tehe. And the WHINER, she emerged during tx as well. Found

myself whining out loud three weeks afterwards and asked, " Who IS

that woman? " She had to go, too, LOL.

Fortunately, all of the craziness does disappear after treatment,

and you'll be better than new! Just make sure your boyfriend knows

what's happening to you...I told my hubby once, " I am woman, hear me

roar! " " Oooh, I hear you ROAR, woman. Believe me, you ROAR! " ROFL.

And I kept apologizing, " this is not me " --and he said, " Honey, this

you on treatment. " Remember that; it IS temporary.

Hugs and prayers, Suzy

I'm not quite sure how I should handle this without hurting people's

feelings. Should I just try to be by myself when I'm feeling this

way? Because now I'm feeling pissed again today and I don't want to

alienate anyone. I am starting to think that maybe I should be mad

and maybe I'm just blaming it on the meds...oh what the heck...I

should just let it go, huh? I can deal with physical

stuff...really, I can, but I absolutely hate the emotional crap.

Guess I should just keep telling myself its the meds, huh? Did that

work for you?

,

Sorry for not seeing this until now but, Yes tell your doctor about

this side effect. It may be time to start a mild anti-depressant.

They usually take a few days to kick in, sometimes 2 weeks.

Many people start catching a buzz the day of the shot. If you take

the shot at bedtime you may get to sleep before it hits. Some

people do their shot at noon or mid-afternoon and go to the gym and

work it off. Some sort of physical activity is very good for

reducing the sides. Picking a fight with someone DOES NOT count!!

I may be coming over to Bakersfield this weekend. Send me a private

e-mail if you want to get together and say Hi!. I'll be headed for

Henley's on H street.

, hdhepper is right! I was joking around with you, but you

definitely have the rage...and it is time to start/increase the

antidepressants. I was numb by the time the docs got done with me:

went from 50 mg Zoloft to 200 mg--added 75 mg of Effexor at six

months...no more raging around with all that, LOL. Just comfortably

numb, or uncomfortably numb depending on the day's side effects.

Please, remember that your body is dealing with some extreme

medications and your mind is affected by all of those changes. It

won't be permanent, it won't happen every day...but do see your

doctor for help!
