Guest guest
Thanks for all of your replies about exercise. I don't mean to be negative, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to follow many of these suggestions any time soon. I have graduated from grad school and am no longer eligible for student discounts. In addition, I have checked with the Y's and local pools and the places that offer the type of swimming that would be best for me, provide these classes during the workday while I am at work. Swimming IS great but unless I hit the lotto, I think I'll have to wait for Memorial Day when my apartment's pool reopens. I also have tried an Eliptical trainer and noticed that you can go backwards on it too! I think this would be great but I will have to wait a bit due to finances. I think that I will continue to ride the Airdyne bike despite how it may affect my balance. I realy hate having bad balance but I've noticed that my balance seems BETTER after riding the bike, most likely because my circulation seems better. I will also continue to do the stretching. Thanks again for all the great replies. Marti
