Guest guest
Hey Bob, I did in fact see your former posting and was looking at the main CMT info. site re the blood donation issue and have not found ANYTHING THAT SAYS ANYTHING TO THE EFFECT CMT PERSONS Cannot give blood. I also read some other of our sites I had in archives, and found out nothing in TERMS of persons with neuromuscular diseases NOT being able to give blood. Have you contacted either CMTINT.org (in Canada, - Director is ) and CMTA here in the US (Director is Vince), email their 'staff addresses' with your query? They might be able to direct you further I completely support your goal on this,as we are always in need of new, constantly updated information in re to every aspect of our CMT lifes. I will keep at this myself; do you at least carry the CMT Wallet Card that explains what CMT is in brief? It is pretty explicit and clear as to what CMT IS and ISN'T! Why don't we work on this further? ~ Gretchen at liliwigg@... rdick1@... wrote: > My goal is to find something that I can copy and give to the > folks at the various blood drives to convince them to accept me as a > donor!
