The test was in March of this year, I began to get calls from Athena

2 months ago, asking if I was trying to get insurance or MDA to pay.

Having previously run a business, I find it interesting about the 120

day wait for payment. That would bury most businesses. I have been

turned over to collection agencies twice (something that has never

happened to me before) over bills that insurance companies were

supposed to pay (and finally did) and once where the doctor wanted

the difference between what the insurance company paid and what he

charged. I was not responsible for that because he was an in-network

doctor but they turned me into the collection agency anyway.

Because of experiences like this I do not like dealing with doctors,

their billing departments, or insurance companies. It's a bummer to

be sick, huh?
