The first time was successful, although I did have to get through the electrical shocks. But after being off for about 1 -2 months, I ended up going back on since I was depressed and couldn't handle a new job I started. Then this May, I tapered off again and was off for a few weeks. I had the electrical shock and just felt physcially sick. Plus with the stress I have at work, I could not deal with anything. So i am back on the 10 mg until I see my doctor at the end of the month. i like the way I feel on lexapro and I am a better person to be around. Just ask my husband! So it is a dilemna for me since I hate having to take medication. But I sometimes think, if it makes me feel better, so be it. Good luck with the tapering. It is when I went to every 2 days and then was totally off of it did i feel the side effects. My eyes changed sometime after i turned fourty. From both dark brown to my left one turning light green, my right stayed dark brown, still don't know why, I am going to have my eyes checked soon, so if i find out anything i will let you know. Both eyes were blue at birth, but I noticed one seemed darker than the other. By the age of 4 mos the right eye was distinctly blue and the other was dark brown. Over the years (she is now 11), the right eye has faded from the vibrant blue to a pale/light brown, while the other has remained dark brown. Today she came home from school and asked me what caused her eyes to be two different colors and was there an operation to change it! I told her no there was no operation for it and reassured her that she is beautiful the way she is! Heterochromia is super rare and striking and I feel very special to have it. I am 19 and also have one hazel and one dark brown eye (pics in photo section!) and I have recieved nothing but positive comments about my eyes. After reading through some of the messages in this group, I've seen that some people have shyed away from this condition and opted for coloured contacts and the like, which I think is such a shame - so props to you for encouraging your girl to feel good about her eyes! It's so important for you to give her that to help her gain positive self-esteem for a lifetime to come. Have you told her how wonderfully unique she is and before too long there will be so many kids dying to have cool eyes like hers. There are people that go out of there way to purchase contacts of different colors just to look unique, wear those beautiful eyes with pride, how lucky you are to not have well boring eyes like so many others, or so many of your friends. I have one very light green eye and one dark brown the left brown eye changed to green late in life for no reason I know of but I love it, people always say how cool I want eyes like that. I just can't come up for any reason for the change and I am the only one in my family that is like this. My daughter has green eyes and when i had her both my husband and myself had dark brown eyes. My left eye is blue with 30% brown spot and my right eye is brown. I do not know the reason. I only know that my mom got very scared and has taken me to see the doctor but he had said everything was OK and could not explain the reason (??) That's what you get for living in New Hampshire! When my dad's friend and his wife lived up there, some years it started in October and didn't stop until May. He finally gave up and moved back to his hometown in Alabama. It was he who convinced my dad to move south when he retired instead of north up your way. I am 37 yrs old, female living in ohio. I am always in pain, due to three henanted disks. One in neck, between shoulders and the other in tail bone L2. My L2 is twisted to the left and there is no cushion left. I also have celiac disease( allergic to wheat and flour) and just digonoised in April of having pre cancerous cells.Tuesday I popped mu hip out of place again and my ankels are swollen, and brusied. My knee and shoulder hurts.I am so stiff in morning that I can not move very well due to pain and atheritis. I go to the chriopracter when I am really bad, because I can not really afford it:( I think I am just going to have to break down and go to the dr.
