Guest guest
Yesterday very slight reminder, not quite a twinge that makes the leg crumble, but a tiny flick. Last night I used it again per the usual way. This morning less sensitivity. I put the pads towards the back of the hip joint last night and no pain there. In front there is some sensitivity. So, tonight or tomorrow night I will apply to the frontal area of the hips and see if that helps. bG > > some months ago I hurt my hip joints mountain-hiking and overdoing it. > > I have used glucosamine/chondroitin, SAM-e, fish oil, (believe me I take a store full of supplements). > > Twice for about an hour each, a couple of days apart, I used godzilla on the hips, placing a large fat sponge on the hip joints on each side, alongside them while lying down watching TV. This was a 6 volt battery and wire stuck into two stainless dinner forks wrapped with black tape. I put a plastic bag underneath each one to avoid wetting the sheets, and pressed the sponges snugly against the hips. I reversed the sponges about every 30 minutes, so they sat there for 30 minutes once in each position. > > The next day after the first session, the pain was gone, they felt almost normal, not painful, but not 100%. This time the pain went away as before, but..they felt more like normal. Definitely better than a painkiller, even an anti-inflammatory painkiller. So, twice now I have a solution that seems to have no side effects and is stronger than supplements, stronger than painkillers, stronger than anti-inflammatory meds. > > I can cross my legs without feeling the twinge or pressure anymore, at least for now. > > I have no idea if this will last, or if needs repetition or how often. Guest guest
For two nights, an hour each, I treated only the left hip, leaving the right one alone. No meds, or other complications. For the next two days, there was pain on the right, but none on the left. Now, after 4 days some slight pain on the left. The right continues to hurt off and on. The left is mostly ok, but intermittent slight pain. I will resume tonight treating the left hip for an hour or so. It is tempting to also do the right hip, since it does hurt a bit, especially when arising, or getting up from sitting a long time. But it will serve much better to only treat the left and really see how this goes. A few sessions is not likely to result in more than some reduction in inflammation temporarily. Longer term use may have more permanent improvement..or so I hope. bG > > > > some months ago I hurt my hip joints mountain-hiking and overdoing it. Guest guest
Hi bG I have hip pain in the right hip. I have been placing the pads one on each hip with very limited success. Where would you suggest the pads are placed to isolate the current specifically to the right hip area? Many thanks and keep up the good work. Guest guest
I make my own mag oil with Nigari, the magnesium chloride they use to coagulate soy milk to make tofu. It is much cheaper than food grade magnesium chloride, or CP, and easier to find. Just dissolve it in water until no more will dissolve, put it in a spray bottle and spray it on after a shower. They say that is absorbed through the skin. For specific places like a knee, possibly adding it to DMSO, 1:1 would be good. One thing you will notice if you spray it on after a shower is that you will feel sticky, even after it is dry. Maybe its worth it if you get results. Guest guest
place one pad between your legs/hip joint i.e where your penis dangles and the other pad opposite it. rotate and take notes until you find sweet spot. Are your sponges wet enough? are they too thick. the current density can be significant. what did your doctor say the cause was or did he fob you off with painkillers? also try sponges on each foot like so current goes up one leg and down the other leg.like the letter V upside down. > > Hi bG > > > > I have hip pain in the right hip.
