Godrods and teeth

Before I went to the endodontist for the root canals I did a little research. I

understood that root canals are NOT forever and that even the best will likely

fail over time due to the impossible nature of clearing every germ from remote

and minute portions of the canals. Failure would be recognizable to the patient

because pain would be present. But, it seems to me that pain would be preceded

by the infective process  and that during that process bacteria would be

entering the bloodstream. Perhaps the very healthy person would not be

compromised to the extent that a heart attack (endocarditis) or other problem

would result. But there may be many previously  unrecognized issues caused by

germs that migrate from the mouth due to periodontal infections, cavities,

leaking fillings, and root canals.

I just got a cold sore yesterday on the side I have been treating with the

Godrod. It is fairly small and not an open sore so I think I may treat it and

see what happens. Has anyone tried the Godrod on a cold sore?

I've had them over 20 years, the best are done with molten rubber, according to

my endo-dontist. The rubber packs in and is flexible over time.

But..forever? no, you must be right there.

Bear in mind a pair of god rods on your desk that you use 5 minutes a day on the

cheeks, might avoid all the issues with infections, remove all the plaque from

your teeth and prevent all decay.

At least I am inclined to think so, but can't say the " G " word (guarantee).

Cold sores are just plain herpes simplex 1. Approach them with one electrode on

the sore, the other behind the neck where the nerve inserts to spinal cord. The

virus lives in the nerve and you want it gone from one end to the other.

Currently Univ of Manchester is working on Alzheimer's cure using antivirals

against cold sore type herpes they have isolated as the cause. You are

definitely on the right track. It will surrender eventually to this. I used to

get them but never any more.
