RE: Dance. . . one of my favorite songs to listen to

is " I HOPE YOU Dance " by LeeAnee Womack; even if I

dance in my mind. . . I feel it's an attitude! part of

the lyrics are; " if you get the choice to sit it out

or dance, I HOPE YOU DANCE " another similar message is

in " the ROSE " ; " It's the heart afraid of breaking that

never learns to Dance " . . . " and the soul afraid of

dying that never learns to live " . . . the message here

is not literal but rather in attitude of " experiencing

life fully " do what you CAN and make the most of what

you CAN do! (and Enjoy it FULLY)

I sit in a rolling desk chair and move my feet and

body. . kids enjoy seeing MOM dance in her chair! I

was a pretty good dancer as a single or line dancer,

but couple dancing was very different. . . My hubby

has tryed to dance with me for years but just couldn't

get our foot work coordinated! (before I knew of my

CMT and balance issues, he thought he just couldn't

" lead " LOL) He supports me while we just hold each

other and sway; it feels wonderful to share those

moments and FEEL the music float me across the floor.

RE: Stress Busters

1. Reading to myself or to the kids. . . my family

love to hear me read aloud. We all love " Hank the

Cowdog " series. (humorous)I volunteer at kids schools;

go read to kids at school or listen to them read.:)

2.Listen to music or Sing (I Karaoke and even the kids

get into this)

3. Watch my kids play a table game or enjoy seeing

them play soccer, or baseball on a team etc. I go to

school and have lunch with them and then see them

playing at recess!

4. Chat on phone to friends; my granddaughter loves

talking to her " NANA " on phone and I enjoy it and sure

makes life bearable!

5. Making purple CMT Awareness ribbons; believe it or

not keepign my hands busy helps me release tension.

And I feel I'm doing something productive; even

sitting on my " fanny " LOL

6. Listening to water move, a creek or ocean waves.

Being in the dry mountiain air!

7.Sitting with a nice smooth cup of JAVA and

meditating. . being thankful and clearing my mind of

tension! Sitting outdoors and listening to nature!

8. Potting flowers or plants; gardening and digging in

the dirt!

9. Writing a poem or song; Lyrics helps me reflect and

focus on beauty in life!

10. Cuddling with my family members! Tucking them in

bed, and talking about the day before getting them off

to sleep; I have to sing a certain song to my youngest

daughter every night; and if I'm not up to singing it;

she listens to THAT song on my CD with me.
