Guest guest
Hi Folks. I found this group whilst searching for more info about 'electric medicine' and it is very interesting here ! Just FYI, recently I was forced by necessity to decide between using meds with known negative side-effects or trying a 'zapper' to help heal a condition which had been in progress for too many months and was not responding to aggressive topical treatment. I am delighted to say that after just 2 weeks of nearly continuous zapper use the condition is now obviously healing and I have been able to back off on the topical treatment a bit - with ZERO drug use. Looks like I can say I am a believer now ! My question: I see all the talk of electrodes made in different ways here and in other places, but a very simple design occurs to me that I have not seen anyplace - why not make simple electrodes using band-aids ? My question revolves around convenience vs. constant usage. The zapper I have uses Canadian pennies for electrodes and frankly they are quite uncomfortable to my skin - but filing off their edges to make them smooth is bad too because that exposes the zinc under the thin plating, so: If someone like me wants a dry electrode to use pretty much 24/7 for a while, why not get some very thin, pure copper sheet, solder a wire to the side which I'll call it's back, then use a drop of white glue to attach it to a simple, latex-free band-aid type strip ? Seems like a simple idea which could be made to have no sharp edges, it'd be very inexpensive, and would not irritate sensitive skin like mine. Any thoughts on this idea - has anyone already done this or something similar ? Thanks ! mark
