Guest guest
There's no reason not to have a metered godzilla, at least one. If you use godzilla and rely on it, having the best is now well-within your reach! This could easily be used in a clinic, it's that good. But if you need some additional, compelling reasons to build one, here they are: 1. validation: you know it is connected and there is current flowing (or not) by the meter reading. going by feel alone can be misleading. 2. turn off the meter, you turn off the device. No more worrying if the sponges are touching so draining the battery. It's off, period. 3. It's cool, there's something about the meter displaying the electric current that is exciting compared to just having it invisible. 4. It is so simple to build that even a 6 year old can make a clinically competent research device. 5. It is cheap cheap cheap. No clinically competent devices can be found for 20 bucks, trust me. 6. If you change the wetting solution for the sponges, you will know the effect on the meter, you can see it. 7. repeatability: you can record your successes along with the meter reading, so that next time you just check to see you have right current range for the condition. This alone is worth many times the price and effort. bG
