Guest guest
My friend, Kathy, a diabetic, has been suffering from pain in both ears for months now. She has been to her doctors numerous times, but they can't find anything wrong. Finally, they decided that she needed tubes in her ears. They told her this would enable the water in her ears to dry up and her pain would go away. Well, it didn't. She's been taking vicodin to deal with the pain which leaves her groggy, so she takes the pain as long as she can before taking the painkiller. She also has had very painful knees for two years and she is diagnosed with osteo-arthritis. She saw her doc recently about the pain. They gave her sinvisc shots which did help some. They have been painful again, so her doctor wanted to give her more shots. She hates shots so she chose to forego this treatment at this time. So anyway, she was telling me yesterday about how her ears have been driving her nuts. So I came out and brought Godzilla with me. I figured it wouldn't cost anything to try it out on her ears, but I did not expect it to do much. Well, she was NOT very anxious to give Godzilla a try since she has a fear of electricity due to a childhood incident involving a brother. She decided to try the pads out on her knees while I kept myself busy fixing her eyeglasses by replacing a broken nosepad. I probably spent less than 5 minutes working on her glasses. When I was done, she was putting the pads back in their baggies. I was disappointed because I figured she only used them for a few seconds and decided to put them away. Well, she used the pads on both knees and also used them on her ears placing one above and below each ear. She didn't know how long to place them there. So, I asked her if she felt anything different. I was totally stunned when she told me that her knees AND her ears no longer hurt. This is after months and months of pain. I was wondering if anyone has any theories about what happened. I just contacted her tonight, more than 24 hours later and she is still pain-free in both knees and her ears. She said one of her ears hurt a little this morning, but that went away. Comments? Thoughts?
