I can't find anything like the Radioshack battery holder in the photos here

in Australia. So could some kind person possibly please have a look at the

photo in this link and tell me if this battery holder would be OK for making

a Godzilla?:

That should do fine.

4X 1.5volts = 6 volt.

Chuck

I just got back from a pleasure trip.

I took my mother-in-law to the airport.

A 4 battery rig will give you 6 volts whereas a 3 battery rig will

give you 4.5 volts, 2 batteries 3.0.

The lower voltages are much more tolerable for longer periods.

The photo shows a 4 cell AAA holder, no switch. It will be fine but have only a

little more than 1/2 the battery life of the same thing in size AA. You may

also find a source of a single AA holder and put 2 1/2 length AA LITHIUM cells

[CR123 - rated at 3.0 volts each for cameras] in it for comparable life when

space is more important. If you pick the 3.3 volt version of the same size case

- will work too but will need less exposure time before you develop skin

irritation.
