Why DC may be more effective than Beck, , etc

I have some theories for why we see the super-quick effective

results with plain DC batteries vs the devices out there you can buy

or make.

1. The effects of electricity on microbes are undoubtedly of

several kinds. One of these may be simple corrosion. The

degradation of the microbes is probably faster if they

get " corroded " by DC current. Corrosion is slower with AC. It's

the same type of corrosion you might see on your car battery or

other batteries. It consists of things chemically torn apart by the

DC current.

2. The power can be set higher if there's no pulsating feeling, as

in Beck's device. It's hard to take that pulsating Beck device, the

nerves get shocked, and you wind up turning it down. DC is an

anesthetic, so you have to be more careful not to have it too high,

or get skin irritation and sometimes minor burns. None of this has

been reported as serious side effects.

3. By reversing current there's a period of time in which the

conversion from one direction to the opposite direction is

occurring. In a simple wire, this would be nearly instant. But in

the body there's more changes chemically that have to be reversed.

That can take more time than instant. By the time the reversal

occurs, another reversal comes up, and undoes the last one. This

can leave the microbe appear to be " unchanged " for some of the time

it is exposed. During the transitions in which Beck devices switch

over from one current direction to the reverse, the chemistry of the

microbes is being set one way then the other way. So, possibly the

damage to the microbe from corrosion in one direction is reversed by

the switch to the other direction. Beck intended this effect to

protect the body against corrosion (ionization, electrolysis, etc).

But, it may also protect the microbe.

4. Pulses from Beck's device tend to open the pores of cells. This

is a minor effect at the low voltage used in DC where a sudden spike

only occurs when you connect the first time. But in a Beck device

the effect is greater since you are going from a positive voltage to

a negative one suddenly, so the spike is doubled versus going from

zero to a voltage. In the Beck the difference between the voltages

are higher, since one is positive and the other negative. If it

uses 6 volt output to the body, the Beck spike is 12 volts.. +6, 0, -

6 will feel like 12 volts from 0,12. If these spikes affect the

cells in such a way as to make them more porous, some substances or

even DNA might enter the cells and cause reactions

or " transfections " . A transfection is simply a case of DNA being

artificially pushed though a cell wall by some process like

electricity. " Infection " means the natural process by which a germ

gets into you. Beck did report cases of toxic overdosing of meds

when using the 4 hertz device. This could have been related to the

spikes. But, it could also be related to increased cell metabolism

leading to the cells' absorbing greater doses of meds, etc, than

they would have in their less stimulated state. A meds dose depends

on some assumptions, and this might have changed the equation to a

greater extent than anyone had anticipated. The DC current users so

far have not reported this effect here. That does not mean it won't

happen, but in 6 years not reported so far. Many older people with

meds are on this group, so I have reason to suspect that it is a

rarity based on the lack of reports. Jury's out, but looks

like " not guilty " , so to speak..
