Use a compass to tell if it's working

Wrap one wire around an iron object like the handle of an iron pot, or

a nail, etc. put the two moistened sponge pads together. Move a

compass near it but not too close. It should influence the needle if

it's working.

nothing to buy. you have your compass at all times in case you get a

bit drunk or are morally tempted, right?
