Guest guest
i just bought the rest of the needed parts for mine. paddles: i find i can, with a little careful effort, push a cotter pin into the foam brush directly. the foam has a soft plate of plastic inside it to help it not be too floppy. i twist the pin whil pushing along the plate and end up with most of the foam on top of the pin. this will result in a smooth flat surface with buried electrodes, & when wetted the whole surface should be live to varying extents. i like V's suggestion to use heat shrink tubing to seal the wire connection against moisture. a tad of shoo-goo at the ends of the tubing should make sure it's sealed well. actually, just coating the wire/pin connection with goop oughta do it fine without the tubing. i couldn't find any shoo-goo at home depot, but got what should be about the same thing from the shoo-goo makers called " amazing goop " . i think they just needed to get shoe out of it for broader appeal. cool, my very own large tube...been out of the stuff & mooching sometimes for years. cheers, bobL myspace: http://www.myspace.com/bob021147 ebay: http://stores.ebay.com/bobLs-fine-flotsam homepage: http://www.toad.net/~blarson/ > Re: Header > > > Thanks for bringing this up, Rowena.
