Hello and everybody.

In the first years after I became a M.D., I worked as a dentist (in Italy in

the 80s there were no Schools of Dentistry and only the MDs were allowed to

practise it). Despite the muscles in my hands were already quite atrophic, I

have always succeeded in dental procedures. I think it is not a matter of

muscle strength. I did not quit dentistry because of CMT, but because I got

the job I had always dreamt (physiatrist) at a rehabilitation hospital.

If you wish to ask me more, you can email me.

Ciao.

Paolo

contact them and ask several questions. My son who has never been

officially diagnosed with CMT is considering this field as a career choice.

He shows no signs of CMT other than being a slight toe walker. He works out

at the gym lifting weights etc. everyday. Yes, I am married to a dentist

(not son's biological father). Dentistry is strictly Jordan's choice.

Paolo,

Thank you VERY much for your response. I greatly appreciate it! I hope you

are doing well and I've missed your postings to the group. I will probably

have some questions for your later regarding denistry....it's a small world.

Take care and thanks.
