REALLY. bG *********** ....surfacing from 'lurking'...Lou sez: Here ... I'm presently 'fighting off' a cold/flu. I recognized the onset symptoms and have been very aggressive in treating myself. I don't want to end up in the ER or 6 feet under...lol. Am using 'battery and wire' aka Apprentice Godzilla except I'm using rubber bands (just lazy) to hold the cloth to the wires and I'm using alligator clips on the battery rather than twisting/securing it on directly. Gives me more mobility. This 'cold' started coming on me Sun afternoon and I started, then, gargling with h2o2 and taking lots of extra vitC. & put a couple of small battery zappers in my bra during the day. And ...using the zilla on various body locations for half hour stretches whilst reading. Mon I felt worse...as the problem/symptoms began working down from the soft pallet/back of throat area. Scary...since lungs are already so compromised from years of asthma. So...Mon and Tues nites I've been sleeping with the 'cloth ends/contacts' on the soles of my feet, using stretch ankle braces to hold em on. Tues...I felt so much better. However by Tues eve I was coughing up bits of mucous from lungs. Not good at all. So...even more vitC, h2o2 gargling and in ears, (in afternoon- hot tub bath of EpsomSalts, Arm & Hammer soda and h2o2 + a couple of essential oils)...and again that nite (Tues), sleeping with battery and wire on feet. Today, Wed noon....I'm feeling ever so much better. Lungs are clear of mucous. However...sinuses are very tight...tho not exactly congested. I keep spraying with a saline solution to keep open. I don't really 'qualify as sick' cause I'm concealing it so well....hahahahaha. Just doing a bit of coughing...not enough to bring comments from family. Thank goodness for battery & wire/aka Aprentice Godzilla. Thank you. Life and breath are precious Lou
