Guest guest
I've removed the simple designs that used 9 volt batteries because we don't need them. The complexity of using a resistor with the 9 volt battery misses too many folks. The size advantage is there, but if you omit the resistor you are playing with fire. So, it's gone. Use the big blocky 6 volts, or 4 AA's or AA's in a holder from now on for these simple devices. The boxed godzillas, best for clinical usage, like the auto-unit, and the traditional manual godzilla, use 4 9 volt batteries. But they sit in a case with the limiting resistor and the adjustable power control. They are too useful to dispense with. Hope that helps avoid the inadvertent uses of 9 volt batteries in place of 6 volt, which is your maximum voltage. The 6 volts should be relatively free from any effects on skin if used for short periods of 10-20 minutes in a given area with wetted cloth electrodes. bG
Guest guest
....The statement below is NOT proven, it is only opinion based on 5 years observing the group, but not on any substantial proof like medical studies, etc. Use at own risk. bG > The 6 volts should be > relatively free from any effects on skin if used for short periods of > 10-20 minutes in a given area with wetted cloth electrodes. > > bG >
