Guest guest
I use to do electric coloring of niobium, but darned if I can remember which electrode colors the metal! It's been 12 years since I've done that so I'd have to get my books out again. But yes, it takes from one and deposits on the other. Thanks. samala " tossed down to live among angels, who have forgotten what they are, I strive to remember " RLV 1998 -------Original Message------- Have been doing CS generation about 3 yrs. Silver migration happens at the - terminal & accumulates onto the + terminal for all that doesn't go into sol'n. Need the - terminal Ag where important. Guest guest
Hi, Regarding the coins and silver content, you have to go back before 1965 coins to see silver coins but they were not so pure. I did snag this off the net regarding what the coins of today (US) are made of, this is true for dime or quarter: Dimes are made out of an alloy (a mixture of metals) of 91.67 percent copper and 8.33 percent nickel (before 1965, the dime was made out of silver). Quarters are made out of an alloy (a mixture of metals) of 91.67 percent copper and 8.33 percent nickel (before 1965, the quarter was made out of silver). Nickels are made out of a nickel/copper alloy (a mixture of metals), 75 percent copper and 25 percent nickel. U.S. dimes, quarters, and half-dollars dated prior to 1965 were minted of 90% silver/10% copper. Although silver dollars also were minted of 90% silver/10% copper, they are not called 90% U.S. coins. Half-dollars dated 1965-1969 contain only 40% silver. Conductive foam medical grade sounds interesting, google finds it. Still decreed value instead of authorized silver, no more valuable than toilet paper as is federal reserve notes at $0.03 each regardless of denomination. Should be OK here. Guest guest
Joe, I guess I wasn't clear. Guest guest
Only reason silver keeps coming up is someone used it on herpes with great results. We have used plain DC and got herpes2 gone 9 months with no signs of returning, despite provocations. Silver may be just a carrier for low-level charge, but higher charge that acts faster is easy to supply. Before we used DC, various tricks and leverages were sought for the 4 hertz Beck type devices, since they were slow or no-show. DC or slower AC, like 1/30 hertz devices changed that, we now see almost too much power. > > > > I'd think maybe the use of a dime (not worth a nickel anymore) on a > > herpes eruption would be good to try. Guest guest
Hi, Joe. I was speaking more about those deep acne infections that some are victims of. I also do not have any experience with them, but was just transposing the experience I have had with fever blisters. It may not be valid, but it seems logical. Except that fever blisters are a herpes virus and acne is a bacterial infection, I think. Anyway, I alligator clip the positive wire from a 6v lantern battery to a piece of .999 silver and touch it to the fever blister, while holding the wire from the negative post in the other hand. Has worked everytime if I get it as soon as I see and/or feel it coming on. If I don't get right on it, it will take a few days longer, and usually makes a scab before it heals. Haven't tried the negative current on these, so I do not know if it would work as well. Also, I do not know if it is the current or the silver, or both. Might work with stainless or copper????? On tooth or jawbone infection I just used covered electrodes inside my mouth, between the tooth and cheek, on both sides of my mouth, not noticing polarity, and it worked great. Regards, Dick Re: Silver+ electricity > >> >> >> >> HI, , >> >> >> >> In the beginning, many, many months ago, I think we all used >> > silver.
