Guest guest
see our group page, menu, photos, advanced designs1, dermaseptic. This simple design is by V (webman V or soemthing like that). It uses a 9v battery and a 1k ohm resistor, very simple, elegant design. Probably THE best herpes, warts, skin cancers, etc device around. bG > > We have in our photos section a picture of a device that has a silver > contact and a small battery, YOu can use it on warts, etc. It passes > current through the bare silver, which sinters off of the positive end > of the battery wire. Guest guest
You know, if you used the electricity by itself it might work. And then you would not have to use metal on skin possibly causing skin to turn colors permanently. bG > > > We have in our photos section a picture of a device that has a silver > > contact and a small battery, YOu can use it on warts, etc. It passes > > current through the bare silver, which sinters off of the positive end > > of the battery wire. Guest guest
This is the device I saw advertised in the local paper by an MD: http://www.caliderma.com/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=2. It claims to use heat, but I'll bet our 9v, silver electrode, fever blister/wart killer would work as well, possibly better. Maybe V, or someone else has tried it on zits or acne. Probably wouldn't work on monkey bites. Dick Re: Silver+ electricity > You know, if you used the electricity by itself it might work. Guest guest
Heat tends to reduce viral replication..for the period the heat is applied. But after the temp comes back down then, what? bG > >> > >> > We have in our photos section a picture of a device that has a > > silver > >> > contact and a small battery, YOu can use it on warts, etc. It > > passes > >> > current through the bare silver, which sinters off of the > > positive end > >> > of the battery wire. Guest guest
The probe device that was advertised for prostate enlargement also uses heat, and claims to be helpful in treating prostate cancer, if I remember correctly. However, I think that our 6v Godzilla would probably be as, or more, effective than heat, particularly in disabling infectious pathogens. And especially if a silver electrode was used on the positive wire. It sure works on fever blisters, which are a virus infection. Stops them dead in a couple of applications. Guest guest
It came with two probes; one for hemorrhoids and one for prostate. The latter was just longer. Since it operated by heat and not electrical current, there was no need for a second electrode, like with a Godzilla. Some time back there was discussion of using Godzilla for prostate. Maybe you can find those messages by using the search feature. Or maybe Bob can direct you, if any were put in the files. Guest guest
Hi Dick. I'm going through my past saved emails and came onto this one. You mention several times about a silver electrode. Do you only use silver on the positive side? And are you using silver because the silver adds something to the electricity? Like in colloidal silver? Meaning that the silver that would be deposited due to the electricity is, you feel, beneficial? I remember reading that bG says silver isn't necessary, but you feel it is? Or has a better record than plain stainless steel electrodes? Thanks. samala " tossed down to live among angels, who have forgotten what they are, I strive to remember " RLV 1998 -------Original Message------- The probe device that was advertised for prostate enlargement also uses heat, and claims to be helpful in treating prostate cancer, if I remember correctly. Guest guest
HI, , In the beginning, many, many months ago, I think we all used silver. Because it was most conductive and because it was not toxic like we suspected copper, and nickel in stainless, etc. I made my first electrodes with .9999 silver that I cut out of rectangular ingots, hack sawed into 8 pieces about 2 inches long. Also used them to make CS. Then we used stainless cotter pins, and/or bolts, but in order to simplify things, so anyone can make one, Bob just uses the copper wires, wrapped with T-shirt material. I sometimes use paper towels, tied on with thread. The covering gets soiled and needs to be changed or boiled occasionally, so paper towels are easiest. The real advantage of silver is used raw on zits and fever blisters. One or two brief treatments sends them somewhere else. In those cases only the positive electrode needs to be silver. Guest guest
I'd think maybe the use of a dime (not worth a nickel anymore) on a herpes eruption would be good to try. Just place the dime (or quarter) over the thing and put the cloth positive electrode on top of it. Hold it or use a rubber band, etc. Don't reverse the current. Use about 5 or 10 minutes. Don't be surprised to see a little bit of stain in the skin if you use it too long. I have no idea how long " too long " is. You are the researcher there, so be prepared for adventures! bG > > HI, , > > In the beginning, many, many months ago, I think we all used silver. Guest guest
Got it! Thanks Dick. Being a silversmith, I have plenty of silver around here. I might try the silver electrode the next time a fever blister comes up. I hate those things and the sooner they go, the better. samala " tossed down to live among angels, who have forgotten what they are, I strive to remember " RLV 1998 -------Original Message------- In the beginning, many, many months ago, I think we all used silver. Guest guest
Silversmiths do not usually make jewelry with .9999 silver, and alloys could have some metals that are toxic in them. You can get a .9999 silver ingot at a coin store, or some have 1/8 " ribbon for less than $20, that you could use to make CS with as well. The ingots are cheaper, tho. Guest guest
Um, depends on the silversmith. You need pure silver to do enameling and also to do a few other things. I have both--sterling and pure. samala " tossed down to live among angels, who have forgotten what they are, I strive to remember " RLV 1998 -------Original Message------- Silversmiths do not usually make jewelry with .9999 silver, and alloys could have some metals that are toxic in them. Guest guest
I use to do electric coloring of niobium, but darned if I can remember which electrode colors the metal! It's been 12 years since I've done that so I'd have to get my books out again. But yes, it takes from one and deposits on the other. Thanks. samala " tossed down to live among angels, who have forgotten what they are, I strive to remember " RLV 1998 -------Original Message------- Have been doing CS generation about 3 yrs. Silver migration happens at the - terminal & accumulates onto the + terminal for all that doesn't go into sol'n. Need the - terminal Ag where important.
