Guest guest
If you keep the thing on the wrist without reversing electrodes, you may notice some soreness in finger joints after 10 minutes or more at high currents. We usually like to reverse it every 5 minutes with high currents and short application times. For lower current, and longer times, you can use 10 minutes instead. If you have an automatic switching device like a Beck device, you can modify it if you can get inside and find the timing circuit. But that is very dependent on the device you have. SOTA's is timed by a special unit that isn't easy to modify. In our photos section is a series of shots of a basic auto-switching Beck type device. That can be modified easily by using a larger capacitor for timing the switching. This is all pretty basic: you need to reverse it sometime so that the current doesn't pile up too many chemical changes. Reversing it undoes the changes, to some extent. That's why we do it. It is not to do something to the microbe. It's only in case any side effects from too much current in one direction would possibly cause some problem in the body. We have no reports yet of any such things, but we don't want any, either! bG
