Guest guest
sounds ok, placement is not that critical, just try for above the artery pulse points. anatomy charts will show where they are in theory. one's near the radial (thumbside) bone, the other is about 1.5 " away towards the pinky side bone. bG > > Hi All > > Just a question about the placement of electrodes on the wrist. > > I don't know about everyone else but my pulse points are rather > difficult to find as my pulse does not seem to be very strong in my > wrists. Guest guest
Hi Neil, A good trick to find then is to tilt your wrist way back and that brings the arteries closer to the surface and you will be able to feel them then. One of them is below the thumb just to the right of the tendon and the other is about 3/4 inch to the left of that one. when you tilt your wrist back you sholud have not problem finding them., What i do then is mark them with a pen above and below the area where you are planning to put the electrodes. then when you strap theum down you will be able to get the electrodes dircetly above the arteries bp lining it up with the marks. Take care, V > Hi All > Just a question about the placement of electrodes on the wrist. > I don't know about everyone else but my pulse points are rather > difficult to find as my pulse does not seem to be very strong in my > wrists.
