I did the same thing about two weeks ago, but forgot to report it. I have

some 1 ounce .999 silver ingots and used an alligator clamp to connect one

of them to the positive spring of a 6v lantern battery and touched it to the

budding fever blister and put a finger on the negative spring. I wet the

fever blister with CS to make better contact and only touched the spot for

about a minute one night and once the next morning. It never developed

further and did form a small scab, which fell off in a couple days. Maybe

the silver chased the virus away. Or was it the current? Who cares?

I usually use DMSO on fever blisters and they leave much faster than

anything else I tried, but not as fast as this time.

A year, or more ago, V designed one with a permanent silver wire coil on the

positive side of a 9v battery, with a resistor between the negative side and

a plate that your thumb held. I never bothered to build one, but it would be

handy. In fact I saw one advertised in an airline catalog on a flight to

Mexico once, so they are on the market.

thanks, GB. I posted to our herpes file (yes, it's herpes, sorry,

but we all know what's what here. cold sores are much more dangerous

than genital herpes, they can enter the brain and kill you. in my

case genital herpes could enter my brain, but that is another

story :))

OK you are now an official Apprentice Ziller!!! congratulations!!

This means you have done a brave and noble deed and shared the

benefits with others, lifting us all from ignorance.

Some may laugh, but consider the meaning of Apprentice: one who can

do simple things and get results under the direction of a master.

Ask: can a doctor do this? If not, then they are not Apprentices!

They are helpless fools charging for services that don't work.

Apprentices here are effective people at an entry level. It means

something as real as an Apprentice shoemaker, or tailor. If your

shoes fall apart, or your buttons fall off, how much of an Apprentice

was the person you paid to do the work? Not much..
