Guest guest
To avoid colds catch them early. It's hard because the first signs are often tiredness, and you just want to rest. But...you will rest a LOT better if you follow these (experimental) but based on some talks with medical folks: 1. apply electrodes to either side of the nose. don't get complicated just lay them upside your schnozola and alternate every 5 minutes for a total of 20 minutes. 2. Move them down under the cheekbones and hit that area for about 10 minutes. You should notice a strange metallic taste of electro- stim in the mouth. This will hit the root of the upper teeth, that can get infected easily by colds. 3. Use them about 10 minutes over top of the eyes, in case those sinuses are infected. 4. Now, put one over the left eye, and one under the right cheekbone for 5 minutes. 5. Put one over the right eye, and one under the left cheekbone for 5 minutes. The last steps get a cross-flow of current across the upper nasal area where the ports for the maxillary sinuses drain. Those can get infected. 6. put one electrode on each side of the throat under the chin straddling the area just above the Adam's apple. This is the lymph area. Do about 5 minutes one way, reverse positions and do another 5 minutes. 7. If you feel sore throat coming, put one in front of throat, one behind the neck for 5 minutes, reverse for another 5. Sore throats can mean either infected throat, or tonsils, or simply toxins draining from the nose cold into the throat. Either way some electricity will help it to heal up for you. That should be repeated next day if there are any more symptoms. IF you have other illnesses and want to protect against colds on top of them (HIV, HEp-c, etc) you absolutely must not allow colds to get established. Do this. Don't put it off, do it asap when you feel tired, ill, etc. It's nice to have a cold-free life in any case. Exceptions, contra-indications, etc: 1. If you never rest, are a workaholic and otherwise disease-free take the cold, otherwise you'll never get any rest. 2. If you like the strange feelings you get from Nyquil, your life sucks, go for it. Other than than, doing the above can mean a nicer life. bG
