SOTA address is spoofed

Russ notified me he's got antivirus protection, and his address has

been spoofed (someone pretending to be him).

Please just delete these for now, sorry for any inconvenience.

You can set groups to reject attachments on posts. That might be a

reasonable idea given that this list is primarily text based.

Hi bobluhrs,

Most of the new viruses spoof addresses. There is no someone behind it. its all

the virus software doing that. I changed to a different email program (the Bat)

and rarely see them any more. even if they do get here I jsut delete them but

they can't activate because the Bat dose not have any security holes like

Outlook express has.

I have not seen any come through from the lists any more.
