Wrap your electrodes..good idea

I just spoke with someone who used bare metal over wetted pads on

wrists. Both wrists got nasty burns that occurred when something

shorted out. We're not sure how it happened, but it was sudden.

Perhaps arcing out when bare metal electrodes accidentally touched,

resulting in a huge current flow suddenly and burning the skin

nearby? We don't know.

I'd say the lesson is that electrodes should in fact be covered

completely with cloth prior to use with devices that do not have

limiting resistors, like Apprentice Godzilla.

So, if using any battery without a limiting resistor, plan on your

electrodes and all bare metals being covered with cloth so that

arcing does not pose a risk.

Devices like godzilla (the big one) have limit resistors in them, so

they are safer in this regard.
