Tap water has chlorine in it, so you most likely have been drinking silver

chloride, plus who knows how many other compounds. How much have you been

drinking? Some politician was in the news a year, or so, ago, because he had

turned blue. He was making his with tap water also. I don't think there have

been any reports of this problem using steam distilled water. Bob Beck used

tap water in a demonstration, but you should only use it externally.

You need a dissolved solids meter that shows how many parts per million you

are making. I bought mine on ebay. Checking plain tap water mine shows 185.

Wallmart distilled water shows 1 ppm. I just let it brew until it shows 6 or

7ppm.
