Guest guest
check out our photos section, there's a smaller one using a 9volt battery and 15k ohm resistor (radio shack). not much mor complex than the apprentice model. b > > I have built (but have not needed to use it, so nothing to report on) the > apprentice godzilla. Guest guest
The switch will not be needed for bites, etc. it's a gizmo to make reversing the current easier for sick people in bed. You, on the trail, will be able to switch electrodes easily every 5 minutes or so on the bite, etc. The LITE is the one I'd use. you can either use 1 9 volt battery and a 10k-22k ohm resistor on it, or use 4 AAA's in a plastic holder, and skip the resistor, since this will give you 6 volts. The trail can be rough on connections so the 9 volt thing makes sense, less contact points. Baking soda is optional. Hope you don't need the thing, but you're right, it's wonderful to have one. don't skip the other 1st aid stuff you need though. bG > > Oh thanks!! Guest guest
you don't need cotter pins (older technology) just use the Apprentice Godzilla type of electrodes for this. bG > > > > Oh thanks!! Guest guest
carry the solid brick Apprentice in the car, too. The more people see this thing.. well do I have to draw pictures? Each time another caregiver, like you and the other folks here show this thing around and it gets used, more inert microbes result, and the immune systems begin to copy them. You become immune to the things you neutralize eventually. and so do others. So they are no longer carriers. Good for them, good for you. Besides the conversational topics soon drop down to the boring stuff, and since this is interesting, it can save the day. Have a nice trip, Bob > > Ok, thanks.
