Dear Friends,

Here's what we have decided to do as a result of the new legislation

in Australia that is destined to be harmonizing regulations for other

countries in the world as well.

This global regulation effort to vastly regulate natural health will

be ongoing and we feel will become more and more restrictive. As a

result of our experience with government over the past few years we

realize that the energy behind these regulations are harmful to the

well being of all. For three years we tried to work with this energy

and meet government regulations. We finally came to the conclusion

that this path was not the one SOTA could productively or honestly

travel. Our business and our lives were absorbed in the process of

appeasing and trying to live within the very limiting mental realm

created by political over regulation. We are finally getting back to

our roots—we started SOTA to care, to share, to free and be free, to

create. Our experience in trying to work with government regulators

has taught us that the two systems are in opposition, with the one

very sick and the other very vital and alive.

For this reason, SOTA is going to become a private community, where

like-minded people can come together to share, to care and to learn

from each other. Our units will only be available to members of this

community.

Both the governments of Canada and Australia have told us that as

long as the intended use for our units are for lifestyle enhancement,

relaxation and well-being we are considered consumer products rather

than medical devices. It is only when claims or intended uses are for

medical purposes that units become medical devices. We do not wish to

be medical devices ... we know that path is one of ill health for

SOTA, our customers and ourselves.

Currently, our units are available for sale to the general public and

the intended uses are as above. We have been working on this for

many months and it will still take many months yet but our new

program will change SOTA to a private community offering our units

only to members. This will allow us to offer more information and our

members to freely share information. At the same time we'll keep the

intended uses as above in place ... thereby allowing us to better

serve our members with more information and meeting to the best of

our ability government regulations.

I know this is process is in the early stages (of changing over) but

I hope you leave in some mechanism for referrals. I sent everyone I

talk to who is unfamiliar with this technology (but open to it) to

your website. Your devices are easier for novices to use, they are

well made and come complete with everything needed to start

immediately (other then the 3 seperate shipments necessary for

delivery to the states). In some cases I have purchased equipment on

behalf of others but frankly I would rather have them do it and take

ownership of their health. Please take that into consideration for

whatever you end up doing.

Thanks kindly for your response and suggestions. :>)

With much joy I am happy to report that in fact we will be

introducing a " referral " system whereby the " referees " will be

compensated for their efforts. The new system will make everyone's

life happier since it is easy, simple and virtually risk-free to the

referees. Much thought has been put into the new system and I am sure

it will appeal to many and also attract more to the system that ever

before.

Details will be released when we have worked out the bugs and are

Hope this goes well, Russ, it's an area we've needed something for a

long time, and this idea seems promising.

I think the govt is not in an enviable position having to defend the

public at large according to one big rule book that fits some and

does not fit others.

So having a private area folks can relate to versus the public

domain marketplace arena, makes a lot of sense. It makes sense for

everyone, including the govt. They really have better things to do

these days than to chase after people's little boxes with batteries

in them, honestly. Doesn't that make sense?

Thank you very much for your reply! I definitely do not want to be

left out of the new system! This is very good news about the

referrals -there are so many people out there who wouldn't do this

on their own but when a friend or someone they trust says it works

(and takes the time to explain how it works) they become almost

instant " converts " ! I took a leap of faith when I bought mine (the

Silver Pulser was my first purchase of a Beck device) and often

people ask me why I did it not knowing if it would really work. All

I can tell them is after reading about Bob Beck and hearing him

speak (via his recorded lectures), I felt compelled to try it.

Almost every person who asks this question says in reply that they

would not have done that - yet hearing my story, they are willing to

take a chance. So it helps to have someone take " point " on this

subject - knowing I went down this road makes it easier for the next

person (I talk to)it seems.

I do want to clarify one point – that I said your Silver Pulser is

easy for novices to use in no way implies that those more

experienced shouldn't or wouldn't use it. What I am trying to say is

that when you are introducing a person to something completely out

of their realm of experience, you don't want to scare them off or

dissuade them before they get a chance to try it. I know of the 5

people I have personally introduced to the Silver Pulser over the

last 3 months everyone of them is still using it. These are not

people comfortable with do-it yourself projects or complicated

devices. So that is why I say it is great for novices. Newbies

and/or technophobes are not threatened by its design. I would really

like to keep using mine but my best friend " borrowed " it and I can't

get her to give it back! ;-)

There is one other thing here that Russ has touched on that I think

is being downplayed or overlooked here in the states (at least I

haven't seen much about on the lists or in the media) - the European

Union (EU) Directive on Dietary Supplements. This is part of bigger

legislation called the Codex Alimentarius, which basically is a ban

of supplements (well, that is what it amounts to). Because we are a

signatory to and part of the WTO, this will affect us here (in the

states) when it becomes " law " in August 2005. If this piece of

legislation isn't stopped, conceivably the supplement industry as we

know it today could disappear almost over night. It is being fought

in England by a group called the Alliance for Natural Health

(www.alliance-natural-health.org). I would urge everyone to check

out their website for more information on what is going on.

on his website wrote a little " what if " piece to underscore

the potential effect this legislation may have on the American

Consumer (http://www.wrightnewsletter.com/nah/article.html). In

this " story " he also mentions two other pieces of (American)

legislation, S.722, the Dietary Supplement Safety Act and H.R. 3377,

the Dietary Supplement Access and Awareness Act, both of which are

attempts to roll back what little we gained under 1994 " DSHEA " law.

When you read about the things that are going on it is almost

impossible not to see the hand of the " pharms " in all of this. The

community of alternative health is under siege like it has never

been before - and things can only get worst if we don't step up and

make our voices heard!
