Guest guest
I did that for 2 years, and it never got painful again, but according to the xrays the jawbone was still harboring infection. According to what I have read, infected jawbones can trigger heart attacks and other ailments, so I submitted to the root canal and crown. This did seem to cure the infection, because I can press on the spot where the infection was, and I can no longer feel anything. Even though it never hurt like the first time, I could still feel something down deep when I pressed on the spot. Maybe if I had used my Godzilla regularly for a few months it could have gotten to the infection, but usually I would just use it for a couple times a day for a week, or so, and stop. Guest guest
Interesting, Dick. This means the abcess was under the tooth. The test for abcess is this (not likely to ever change): press down gently on tooth. If it hurts, it is underneath the tooth. If not, it's inside the tooth. To confirm, apply the tip of a thin sliver of ice to the top of the tooth very briefly. If you scream, it's inside the tooth. (sorry). It can be both places. The trouble with abcesses is that they trap stuff that can't move easily, the body can " sack it " up so it's a stubborn area. All you can hope is to contain it, retard the growth, control it, etc. Even if you kill every germ inside it, the fuel is there, and the fire re- ignites eventually. A godzilla is just a local alternative to an anti-biotic in that case. It can save you some money in short term, but you should consult dentist for longterm solutions. Root canals are preferable to abcesses, since they reduce the volume of infectious materials. Inside the root canal, there's very little fuel to cause trouble. And godzilla can reach it, so it's less likely to ever cause significant trouble. I like that solution better than Dr. 's of yanking the teeth. That would be both stupid and cruel. If you can kill the germs inside the root canal, why not use this simple procedure rather than yank teeth? I can see it if elec were not available to keep them clear, but it is. bG bG > I did that for 2 years, and it never got painful again, but according to the > xrays the jawbone was still harboring infection. Guest guest
Yeah, after I treated it with the 9v GZ-Lite I could bite down on the tooth or press on it and never had any pain, but if I pressed my finger on my cheek up near the sinus I could feel a sensitive spot that never cleared up. The xray at the dentist's showed an infection in the bone, they said. Dick Mag pulser success > > > > > > > I have a SOTA pulser. I also have a bad tooth. Guest guest
That does make sense, Dick. The current you put in there ran across the mouth, not upwards into the bone. By placing the opposing electrode higher on the head the current might have been persuaded to move upwards into the bone and clear that part up? good question, late in coming. This is why accurate updated postings to here are important! We can figure it out if we know what's happening, folks. bG -- In , " Dick Rochon " <rrochon13@c...> wrote: > Yeah, after I treated it with the 9v GZ-Lite I could bite down on the tooth > or press on it and never had any pain, but if I pressed my finger on my > cheek up near the sinus I could feel a sensitive spot that never cleared up. > The xray at the dentist's showed an infection in the bone, they said. > > Dick > > > Mag pulser success > > > > > > > > > > I have a SOTA pulser.
