I am trying to locate any information that might be available regarding the

following individuals who moved to Oregon from Ohio sometime before 1899, or any

decendants or relatives. They are thought to have corresponded with relatives by

the names of Rose Ernst and Rosina Ernst that are thought to have lived in

either Cincinatti or in Cleveland Ohio. (may have also been known as

ph) Ernst born about 1857 and his wife Frances Wolf (one record lists her

maiden name as Wall) and their son Albert T. Ernst born Jan, 14, 1897. They had

another son named Ernst that was born in Oregon on February 5, 1899.

The Rose Ernst living in Ohio was the sister of Ernst Sr. and was blind.

She remained single. The exact relationship with Rosina Ernst is unknown, but

she is believed to have married at some point in time and therefore would have

probably changed surnames. There may be a hereditary genetic disease in the

family commonly known as Charcot Marie Tooth Disease (CMT). It is believed that

Sr. and his son may have been mildly effected by the disease.
