Guest guest
thoughts and prayers and envisioning and good outcome for you. carol SSI Hearing, Nervous Thanks for the replies. I'm really nervous because while 100% of what I reported and what I will or hope to say is true, so much rest on one mans opinion or quota, or mood. I know it is all really in God's hands, but I fear a slip of the tongue, or why didn't I say this or that. I do feel comfortable with my Lawyer. She told me that many times less is more, to not over embellish. She also told me that a retired SSI judge told her the worst answer you can give is " Nothing " meaning in the context of what can you do, or what do you do during the day. It is better to say you lay in bed, watch tv and cry than to say nothing. She also warned about sometimes and it depends. She said that the more specific I can be about my pain, and it's triggers the better. So I'm off to read my notes and try to sleep. I have several things in my court. I have 4 back surgeries with implants, I have 3 different doctors Pain management, Neurosurgeon , and psychiatrist all pretty much saying the same thing in their narrative letters. I have a strong work record up until I became disabled. What I have against me is I'm 46. She told me if I was 50 and up it would almost be a sure thing. So at worst I may have to fight them for 3.5 years. How many times can you appeal ? Thanks for listening. I'll report how it goes. Oh I almost forgot, one more thing in my favor. 2 in the afternoon is a bad time for me. I will be in pain, and it will be evident.
