I always started out very nice, but I never gave up until I got the

Thank you ,, the above line got me labled as " mental case " .... now

they are " refusing " to meet again until after Thanksigving,, i say WHAT,,

one/two weeks before finals! Let's hope the new note from doctor saying i need

WORD FOR WORD,, will push them to act faster. The advocate and I are looking

now for any cases that will " force " the college to provide CART while decision

are pending.

Getting that Paralegal degree is VERY IMPORTANT for me,, I will NOT give up!

BTW, I graduated Summa Cum Laude. And all the movies and tapes we had

as part of Occupational Therapy are now transcribed for those who come

after me.

Congrats!... i got invited to join Phi Theta Kappa, all because my summer

GPA was 3.92.

This is first quarter that I am taking classes on campus and the way it is

going,,, i more likely will have lower GPA,,, if i can get 3.92 doing online

classes during the summer,,, that cuz i was getting EXACT same material as

everyone else in class (online class is so deaf friendly)..... this is 2004,

would you beleive that three times, films were shown in class and ALL THREE

were

not CC?

I already had to drop one class, where it says " reason for drop " ,, i wrote

" access dispute " . Said that to SHOW them as documented on so and so dates.

....Very well put and explained. I've always been a self

advocate and have spent many hours helping other HOH and deaf

advocate for themselves. Never give up! It's worth every effort

that you make.

Thanks for telling us about your experiences.

I found this on a website and added the link in the links section.

But I thought this was something everyone should see. Best wishes
