Would this be painful?

I finally saw a neuro surgeon this week .

He looked at my cervical MRI and read the report his comments were

my spine was showing arthritis not sure if he used the word changes

but arthritis was showing up and then a buldging disk.

I didn't get much time to ask questions and he checked reflexes in my

arms. I could not tell that they moved but maybe that is normal.

He ordered MRI of my lower back and for the cervical physical therapy

for a month.

Now that I have been told this does it seem like this Dx would be

painful?

I had different wording on the report so I got a little confused on

the neuro surgeon telling me what he said and then the report worded

it differently. I guess it is all the same thing.

Anyway I just would really like to know if my complaints seem

justified?

I hope that is not a stupid question.
