Guest guest
Hi Katina it really does sound like a pinched nerve somewhere in your lower back. Mine was like that before I had my implant put in, I couldn't walk, sit or do anything without horrible pain. And no matter what they gave me it never stopped the pain. It was my sciatic nerve that was being pinched at L5 S1 just as it is now again. But now its being squished exiting the disc and its a different kind of pain in my legs and back. I'd say go have the mylegram done and find out whats wrong. At least then you will know whether surgery will help or not. Where was your surgery done before ??? Because it maybe the scar tissue that is causing you pain there too. My dr warned me that could happen after my first surgery. It doesn't have to be a herniation to hurt like heck believe me just a bulging disc can cause you horrible pain. It sounds like he thinks something is wrong he just doesn't know what. So I'd tell him I'd want to know what it is and keep doing test until you figure out what is going on. THen decide whether or not surgery will help. It should though, just getting the pressure off the nerve will help a ton, although it may not relieve all your pain. But there is no way of knowing unless you push them to do the test and find out. I'd sure want to know. I hope they can figure out what is causing your pain. Are you seeing a PM dr to help relive some of it?? I'd do that too, cause it may take awhile for them to find the answer You could ask your dr too if a dorsal spinal stimulator would ease your pain, not sure but it might be an option rather than more surgery. You can try one out for a week and see if it helps, they hooked me up at the hospital with one and boy did it help a ton. It still does but this new pain is different and it isn't working as well on it. Still without it I'd be as bad as you I am sure, cause I was before they put it in. -And its helped me for almost 2 yrs now. Keep you in my prayers I know how badly you feel, sorry I Hope some of this helps. Sharon Group Owner -- In neck pain , Katina Hollman <momof2sweetboyz@g...> wrote: > > I really need some help.
