I, for one, would have been much more interested in your " rant " if you had

signed your name so we could all know who you are. You probably have some

valid ideas here, but remember everyone is where they are now and we are all

doing the best we can. So lighten up a bit, take a deep breath and smile! I

am so carbohydrate sensitive that I have decided that no wheat of any kind

works best for me. It has taken me a while to finally give up and I am sure

that others will find their way to what is best for them too. But we don't

want to scare off the new listers who think the world will stop without a

sandwich! LOL

Sorry I've not been posting. I was sick as a dog for a week, side effects

of Pain killers. Now we are moving this week. It's hard to watch my Wife,

65 year old Mother -in-law and others carry our stuff in this 95 degree 100

% humidity, and me being told stay put. I ended up in the ER Sunday night

I thought I was having a stroke. I'm getting a brain scan scheduled, but

the CAT and EKG were fine. So with all this activity, I may not be able

to post. Plus I could lose my ISP until I get relocated. So I've not gone

away, I'm just on sabbatical. Be well all. Dave

Hi Dave good to hear that you are doing better I hope the brain scan comes out ok Thanks for letting us know that you are ok and what you are doing I tend to worry for all in the group and I like knowing that you are still around and ok. Please take it easy and good luck with your relocation.

Hey dave

that really does suck. My in-laws, and family do the same thing to me all

the time. physically speaking i should be doing all the lifting and such;

they have their own health problems, but i get pushed to the side. Ive

never been one to watch others work. Moving though, that must be really

rough watching people twice your age struggle with something that would

normally be easy for you. I try to help with the kids and stuff in these

situations. I do every little thing I can possibly think of to make what

ever they are doing easier, but i still feel useless. They do it cuz they

love us and want to see us get better, but it sux. sorry i was just going

to say that i understand where your coming from, lately ive been running off

at the mouth; must be lack of work.

later dave and good luck with your move

I saw when I went to SportsCenterAustin. After that, I had a

telephone

consultation

with her and I did the program on my own. I agree that she is very

knowledgeable.

The program worked for me. I would recommend to

update your program over time. For me , I had very slow progress at first. It

took about

three months before I noticed much improvement. I bekieve my PT in San Diego

was

beneficial to

my healing also. He worked on loosening my quads and IT band.

Good luck,

Larry

This is a post that will be interesting to the Doug Kelsey, " cartilage can heal "

people.

I'm going to Austin to the Sportscenter!  I won't be seeing DK, but I spoke to

who is of the same mind (they all are there) and uses the same

techniques.  I am glad I finally made the decision to do this.  She was very

knowledgeable and gave me plenty of confidence that she's going to be

practically as good as seeing Doug.

Just saw doc number 3 today (mainly b/c I wanted to request an MRI).  My x-rays

didn't look terrible at all, there's definitely still cartilage there (going to

have MRI next week), but again the main idea was " this is only going to get

worse and there's not much you can do about it. "   Asked him about the idea of

cartilage healing and he scoffed, basically.  Sure hope I get to prove him

wrong!
