Guest guest
Hi, For those who suffer from brain fog, like me, I just wanted to offer another suggestion. I have been dealing with alot of it lately, and last night decided to take a big shot of B12 (intramuscular injection, in the buttocks). I don't eat much in the way of meat, and for almost-vegetarians like me, there is really no other good way to get B12, other than to supplement it. B12 is found primarily in meats. What a difference that shot made! .....I feel so much better today, and I have tons more energy than I did yesterday. It is so easy to forget about specific supplements, since there are so many that are discussed and suggested. Occasionally we need a reminder, and I sure needed that one! I'll be keeping up with the B12 injections much better in the future. Love, Patty
Guest guest
That article I just posted on the 18th, (Toxic Causes of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: Part Two, Treatment Options) said this: The “brain fog” is often helped by high dose B12 injections – I usually start with 2mgs a week for 10 weeks, adjusting the frequency according to response. I will be doing it twice a week to see what kind of response I have. I knew a woman in Tucson who had CFS, and she had a huge supply of B12 vials. She gave herself a shot every 3 days, and had been for quite some time. She was doing really well. I think for those who have pernicious anemia, doctors give it to them only once a month. How long have you been doing them every 3 days? Patty ----- Original Message ----- From: jay igert Sent: Tuesday, June 19, 2001 1:51 PM Subject: Re: Brain fog I do the b12 injections to. The doctor told me to do them every three days. Did you hear anything about that? Caren
