Guest guest
hi everyone, well this has certainly been a hot week here in southwestern ontario. we r experiencing temps hotter than southern california!!! can u believe that??? well anyways, on sunday i got back from my camping trip with my family. we went north about 2 hours from the capital of canada to go camping. we camped at bon echo, a great provincial park. it was nice going camping but hard on my CMT body. if there was a hot tub or something like that i wouldn't have left it at all. i did drive most of the way there and back. i was driving in total of 8 or so hours plus the driving around the campground and into the nearby town for needed things like ice and firewood. i did some canoeing and it was a blast. the only problem was that i wasn't able to rescue my mom's sunglasses when they fell into the water!! well i had another pair to use so that was ok. we left on thursday the 2nd at 4am EST to go to bon echo. it would take about 6 hours to get there but pending toronto traffic. (toronto is about 2 hours away from where i live and traffic is terrible there). i drove to outside of toronto and then let my dad take over because i am not used to driving in rush hour in toronto. it was my second time driving the 401 (a highway that goes from windsor ontario to ottawa ontario, ur suppose to do 100 km/hr or 60 miles/hour but everyone speeds expect for me!) after toronto i took over again, then i drove the rest of the way to bon echo. we arrived there about 9:30 am EST. we got our site picked out and got our tents set up. we had an early lunch then headed to the beach to swim. it was really hot up there so we spent most of our time at the beach. it rained a tiny bit, just a sprinkle, but more rain is really needed, its like we r in a drought again. by the time i had gotton back to camp i had been up for 12 hours and then i napped for a bit. after dinner i we for a walk with trista and by the time we got back we had a fire going for marshmellows. we were under fire restrictions because of the lack of rain. over the couple of days that we were there we swam, swam, and swam. we got back on sunday at 3:40pm EST. we unpacked and checked our messages.... there were tons. this weekend i am going to my best friends house to swim in there pool. our city workers r still on strike and so now public pools still. it hasn't been a pleasant experience at all. i have a fan sitting by me right now, its so hot here. they keep saying that its going to rain but it hasn't yet. well im outta here now to go and lay down again for a nap, take care everyone alisha _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp
