Ron, Larry, J C,

Hi guys and gals of the group I am writing in MAJOR confusion. We cant talk about pain meds? We cant talk about Doctors? We cant talk about health organizations? From day one in this group that I have only joined a few weeks ago that has all been discussed and now all of a sudden we are not allowed? What can we talk about in this group exactely? I came here for help support and ADVICE. I think that if we are not able to talk about these things we cant get any of that. I personally asked if anyone knew of a good doctor in the bay area or a institution and Sharon was the one who responded back to be about the health institution in San Francisco. Under the rule that would not be ok I guess because it was a heath intitution and Doctor? Please help me understand I thought I had done something really wrong and now because of this people are leaving who were helping me tremendously. If you could please explain to me what it is we are allowed to talk about I would be very greatful. As

far as the email sent to the group about people coming to our pharmacy and taking our meds I dont know about you and where you are but for me becasue they are narcotics you have to sign your life away to just get then and you have to show I.D. Not only that but we are grown adults here if we choose not to give out that info for what ever fears we might have I think that should be our decision but for us who are seriously looking for advice and HELP I just cant see what we have done as being so wrong. There were alot of people here with great advice and good intentions I was hoping to be able to give back some day as they gave to me but until I know what I can and cant say I dont know what to do. I am sorry about all of my confusion but if you could please just explain to me what we are allowed to do I would really appreciate it. I really appreciate the fact that Larry is doing what he is suppose to and letting us know what the rules are so I just want to say thank you and

thank you for clarifying to me that I had done nothing wrong to cause this . I hope you dont get angry at this email and just understand that I am just trying to understand to better myself for the group.

Hi Janine and everyone else,

I think it is just the pills that we can't talk about. And I understood it to be for our own safety. It is too easy for people to get info on the web about anyone. If there is a chance that someone could come to my home to get medication that they know I have because I have been talking about it.Well then I think it is worth that ounce of prevention. Maybe that is just me. I still understood it to be ok to talk about our meds in general (moderators please correct me if I am wrong). For example my anti-inflam is helping or I can't take my pain meds in the evening because they amp me out and keep me up all night. All though I am fine to take in the A.M.

I am not identifying my medication yet I am still able to talk about it.

I thought that the thread on addictions was very appropriate. And for the most part it was happening w/o identifying medications by name.

At first I had a hard time understanding the rule also. I have come to understand it better and have seen that much good can come from this group in ways of helping myself and hoping that I am helping others. I am on other Back pain groups and this one is by far the best in my opinion.

I believe we are ok to talk about Doctors and health organizations are we not?

Hi All,

As I posted to Larry, I am guilty of discussing pain

meds. Another thing to think about that I just

remembered. I don't know if this is state by state or

federal law, but if someone steals your Narcotic pain

meds, takes them and has an adverse reaction to them,

the person who stole them can actually sue you for the

adverse reaction. Ridiculous I know, but true.

I don't even leave mine at home when I leave the

house. they go everywhere with me, I know where they

are at all times. Just something to think about.

that is scary if I took everything I had I would need a big back pack and I know for afact I would not be able to carry it between what I have just in my purse and then to take all my meds with me WOW it is scary though I just think the law is stupid sometimes especially when they could sue us it was like the time the guy was trying to rob this ladies house here in cali and he broke his arm climbing in the window and then she hit him over the head and gave hima concusion and he sued he and won for injuries is that not totally rediculous well i hope everyone had a better day today than i did and i pray for all of you to have a GREAT day tomorrow
