Guest guest
Hi , Sorry you are so miserable. I know all about sciatica. I have had great success with warm water exercise therapy. I am fortunate that there is an Easter Seals pool just two miles from where I live and I can go every day. There are people there who tell me they were barely able to walk before they began doing water therapy and that they have had amazing improvements. I know after just a month I am much better. You might look into what is available in your area. All I needed was a prescription from my doctor and $55/month for unlimited use of the pool. They offer many different levels of classes as well as an individual exercise program. Carol

Any ideas are welcome. What worked to give me some relief was wearing a tight surgical stocking on that leg. It did make a difference for me. Guest guest
Hello , I am not sure if what I have is Sciatica or not. I had some leg pain before, but nothing like I do now. I have pain in my hips, right leg and foot that I have had since my surgery and I don't know if it is connected to the RSD or if it is something different. Before surgery, and for a little while after, I woulod walk in the pool at PT and I really liked that. Even at my wors I could still enjoy the pool. I think it can help relieve a little bit even if only while in the pool. Here at home I don't find to much that helps. I will ocaasionally soak in the tub and it might help a little. I keep a hot pad wrapped around my foot every so often too. That helps with the tightness. I wish I new of some tried and true ideas. I am afraid I may not be of much help. I hope you are doing ok. Please keep me posted on how things go. I hope they can figure out a solution soon for you. Take care, Katrina :-) > > Hi Everybody, > > I hope you are all having a good day with as little discomfort as > possible. > > I've had a rough time here lately.
