Guest guest
hello and welcome It doesn't sound like a little problem. Have you gone to see anyone about it yet? I think they would probably make you get an M.R.I. to check everything out. I would definately look into it before it got worse. Let us know. Guest guest
I also think that you need to talk to a doctor about a MRI. that is the only way to tell what is exactly going on with your neck. I have been throught 2 disc surgeries in my neck and I had the same kind of pain. Cause I ruptured my Disc. Hugs and Prayers, Babs

It doesn't sound like a little problem to me it sounds like the start of something worse. Please go see your dr and tell him what is happening to you asap. If I am wrong great if not well I hope I am. Take care and let us know what happens. Sharon Group Owner -- In neck pain , " Jillyz " <lady@x...> wrote: > > Im a new member, and would like some help. Guest guest
Thanks for replying Sharon, and for your advice, you know, if i go to a gp or dr, about it they will just send me to have an xray, we live about 3 hours drive from an xray person, i was reading in an old book of mine "The Vitamin Bible", looked under neck, nothing, but under back pain, Calcium, and painfull, flooding periods (sorry to be explisit) well im nearly 51, no sign of menopause, unfortunately, and funny enough, my neck really gets bad just days before the period, today, which is a bad day.... my necks not that bad, could it be connected? Maybe im lacking in Calcium, though i eat quite a lot of cheese, fish, lots of vegetables and occasionally chicken. My Mum is going into Cape Town tomorrow, so i asked her to buy me some Calcium and Magnisium... hope i havent offended anyone talking about this... thanks again for replying jill Re: Hi everyone-help -Hi Jillyz no I am glad you did join the group it sounds like you NEED to go see your dr now. Guest guest
Thanks for replying Robb, Babs told me the same thing about the MRI thing, its a bit embarrassing, but anyway... i think my problem is lack of calcium, so from tomorrow ill be boosting my self up with some calcium and magnisium, and yes i will take care, thank you very much for replying to me, what is a MRI? If we were talking horse racing it would be a Merit Rated Index...Thanks and you take care, and ill keep you informed on my Merit Rated Index...we live about 3 hour drive from Hospitals and all. jill Re: Hi everyone-help hello and welcome It doesn't sound like a little problem. Guest guest
Jill an MRI is an imaging that is done for disc and things that can not be seen on a regular xray. You lay on the table and it pushes into a tube. But they now have open MRIs; My disc ruptured due to car accidents but I also have DDD which is disc degeneration. Alot of people get this. Mine comes with spondylosis and stenois. I have it in my Neck and lower back. Hugs and Prayers, Babs
Guest guest
spos mine would be horse related and yes i did have one car accident, got knocked out once, very wet weather car went off the road... but didnt get that neck thing, i would put it down to getting thrown off onyx, breaking my wrist, and landing on my shoulder, at a gallop,,he went round a courner too quick and I went the other way, into the dirt... Guest guest
-Yep Jillyz that could have done it very easily. Mine was from riding country english I think as my horse has a very strong trot and I guess it was not a great idea for me to decide to start riding doing that at an older age but when I was younger all I had was shetland pony who tried to toss us off daily. Not a far fall from there I do miss the riding now though, now my horses just sit and eat and are yard ornaments Although it looks like my stallion will be busy this spring with all the interest I have had in him lately, I am sure he will LOVE that take care and have you got a drs appt yet??
