Guest guest
Hi Mitzi, See if you can meet your anesthesiologist in person a day or two before the surgery. That is what I did in '91.(non CMT surgery, however) We had a good long talk about CMT, how I am affected, allergies, etc. He even checked reflexes and sort of did a brief, manual exam. I asked to meet with him, he agreed and when I was put to sleep I felt I was in good, competent hands. I woke fast and had no problems with the anesthesia or its effects. ~ Gretchen
