Guest guest Posted January 28, 2006 Report Share Posted January 28, 2006 My best friend died Tuesday. He worked with me, and actually we were the last two original people in the company. When I left work (early as usual) on Tuesday he was fine. He didnt come in wednesday, I was told he had a 200 degree temp, which i laughed about, because people at work are stupid and i knew he didnt really have that high a temp. I was right, later that day i found out that it was 102. I called him and left a message joking about the whole temperature thing and told him to call me. I got a call thursday morning on my way into work from another co-worker saying he was dead and i told him that shit wasnt funny and to stop f-ing with me. i hung up called my friends house. his fiance answered the phone and i asked for shawn, and she didnt answer and i knew it was true.... Last week everyone in the wedding was fitted for tuxedos. its not right. He had viral pneumonia and it got in his blood. he argued all night with his girl about not needing to go to the hospital, when she finally got him to go it was already in his brain. So just a warning about severe hot and cold flashes. he wasnt in pain, and didnt think anything was wrong until he felt to weak to stand and then essentially it was too late. though im told the hospital all but ignored him, and when they realized something was way wrong and started to listen, they still didnt know what to do and were more concerned with asking him his ss# while he was foaming at the mouth and losing control of his own body. His fiance is being ignored, by work, by the doctors, by everyone and all because they wern't married yet.
