Guest guest
I recently had a cervical MRI and this is what the report said.. Cervical Spine WO Multiple sequences and multiple projections demonstrate cervical spondylosis with joints of Luschka hypertrophy at C5-6 and C6-7. Encroachment on the neural foramina are present, more severe on the right than left. Impression: Cervical Spondylosis C5-6 and C6-7 bilaterally, more prononuced on the right than left with foraminal encroachment. There is no evidence of disc herniation. End of Report. My MD wanted me to see a Neuro Surgeon for a evaluation. We have one in the town where I live and this is the only one my MD knows. I don't want to go to see the only Neuro Surgeon we have so I will have to travel 100 miles and I wondered with this MRI does it sound like something that I should try to follow up with one? I went back to the Chiropractor and he sent for the MRI so he could look at it and he said it was moderatly sevier and also pointed to one disk and said it was shot. This report does not say how sevier anything is. I sometimes have the muscles that draw up if I put my arms in a certain postitions and then sometimes they will get shakey but if I move them from that position they stop. I have been afrain that a Dr would say I was doing that since I can move them and it stops. I had a pinched nerve last summer that was very painful and it was a few weeks before I got relief. My hand has been numb ever since then, and my arm is weak when it is over my head. Please give me any comments on if seeing a NeuroSurgeon is justified? I have seen so many Drs through the years and some can be very hateful and I can't handle that. I have Lyme disease and didn't know until this past Dec so I have spent many years going to Drs and now I fear them. I have also read somethings about people being paralized from a spur after falling or doing Chiro Adjustments. Nashville or Knoxville Tn are the next larger towns if anyone has seen any Drs at these places. Thanks for listening, Sandy
