Guest guest
Anne, I have had 2 episodes of basal cell carcinoma on my face....and I think the one on my nose is back again....I didn't want the doc cutting so I told him to use nitro on it. The weird thing is that I put on sunscreen whenever I go out and it wouldn't even have mattered cuz the first episode was on my lower chin, which I let it go on and on without showing the doc " duhhhhh " but I never even thought of skin cancer, so when I told him I am not a sun worshipper cuz I burn too easily he said that it was in a place that the sun wouldn't even hit. He cut that one out and I had the ugliest 4 stitches of my life but it healed good. I wonder if it's connected to HepC? My nose is super oily while my forehead is super dry that of course I put moisturizer on it....it doesn't make sense to me. Hope heals well and we gotta remember, it could be worse, it coulda been melanoma....right Alley? That's wonderful, Carol. You must be doing something right. If you figure out exactly what it is, tell us. I've been too busy to think about being tired. had another squamous cell carcinoma removed from his hand. This time they'll have to do reconstructive surgery. There's a lot to be said about reserve energy provided by the " Higher Power " when it's necessary. I am sleeping more and longer, but says I cry in my sleep. I don't wake up, so heaven only knows what I'm dreaming. Anne

Guest guest
You have probably read this in my other emails by now but told me to add 2 scoops of whey protein a day and add creatine and glutamine. If we don't get enough protein our bodies will not burn fat efficiently. I am going to try and see if it helps. donna pinto 12/9/03 273/
Guest guest
Thanks Donna. I also read that you need to schedule an appt to make sure you exercise. I know that one! Motivation is very hard, especially if you are stiff and sore or know that the minute you do something you will be stiff and sore for several weeks. It is very frustrating. You would think that exercising two horses would be enough, but it is not. Cant walk, cause I hurt my foot, cant lift weights cause I hurt my back. Grrrr... Also notice that I am a slow loser also. Guest guest
Anne We went in thinking it was IgA nephropathy, since Rob has ankylosing spondylitis. It was a shock when the pathology came back with the diagnosis of Alport syndrome. Luckily, Rob's form seems to be very mild. Try not to worry, it can be something as innocuous as thin basement membrane syndrome, which causes hematuria but there is not a problem with the kidneys. Keep me posted, ok? and Rob 19 JAS Blood in Urine > > > > > > > > Question for the collective wisdom out there ...
