Uncle Rusty is in the hospital

Hello group,

Uncle Rusty is back in the hospital. He has an infected foot that needs surgery

(incision and drainage). He is on blood thinners for previous clots in the same

leg, so they will have to reverse the blood thinners. This will involve getting

Vitamin K and fresh frozen plasma. After that, he will need to have an IVC

filter placed. This is a filter placed in the vena cava so that if any clot

breaks loose from his leg, it won't harm him as it will be trapped in the

filter. It is done in a procedure similar to getting a cardiac catheterization.

After all this is done, they can finally do the surgery on his leg.

I know he would appreciate any and all prayers.
