Methotrexate for our 6 year old

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has any advice on adding Methotrexate in

addition to Naproxen to our daughters treatment. She has been on

Naproxen for almost 18 months. She continues to have swelling and heat

in her knees. I'm very concerned about adding this potent drug into

her little body. But am also afraid of the results if we don't.

Thankfully, the Naproxen has controlled most of the discomfort she was

experiencing prior to treatment. Thanks for any insight anyone might

have. We have filled the prescription but haven't been able to give

it to her yet.
