Well, if people who've been treated for Lyme all feel as good as people

who never had it, i guess it's nice to know that everyone else in the

world feels like crap too. Makes me want to cuss!!!!

Hey,

I never thought of it that way, must be true because whenever I mention

to my husband I hurt somewhere, he does too. Even when I have menstrual

cramps!

Dear & All,

Wouldn't be any fun to shoot this SOB - too quick.

How about a good ol' fashioned town square hanging? I think that would be

very appropriate.

I remember our last rheumy visit, she told us, when we

remarked on Gabby's " special " behavior lately, that it

seems to be the " norm " with JRA kids for some reason.

She liked to think that they were just feisty and

could take care of themselves. I have to remind

myself of that when she's behaving " special " again.

She does get disciplined, but it's hard to discipline

her the same way our oldest was. My husband said I'm

a softy, but when I remember her in the hospital or

lethargic when she's having a flare, it brings joy to

see her running around acting up...at least I know she

feels good! lol But I know I can't or shouldn't

condone that behavior, as difficult as it is. Just

thought I would tell those of you that expressed this

concern that " you are not alone " . Also, we have

fireflys in PA...we're all sleeping out in the yard

tonight as a family and hope to catch a bunch!

Tammy (Jim, Annie & especially Gabs too!)

Hi everyone,

Haven't been here for a long time. Long story with caring for an 89 year old

mother. I have a question. Is there anyone reading this, that has gotten

disability through the government with CMT- type 2? I want to begin the

process soon. One more question: Is anyoine taking the drug Cylert(sp) It is

given to MS patients with fatigue. I would love to have a drug to help battle

my fatigue. Email me at Flyingk@... Thanks one and all. This group is the

greatest.

My son Spencer took Cylert for a while. It gave him facial ticks . It can

also do liver damage.

I thought Cylert was given to children who had attention deficit. Yes, it

can cause liver damage. Blood work is to be done on a regular basis.

Way to go, Mel! It's important that we are able to recognize our

accomplishments and not to minimize them. Even if no one else notices,

isn't it Fabulous to just feel the difference!

And Jerry, you're doing just great. Don't let the dentist rob you of

your walking. It's just Super that your incision is healing so well,

and that you're able to step on the scale - with confidence.

Pat, you are so busy taking care of all of us, when do you have time for

Pat? Your cards mean so much.

Wow, Amber, your post was inspiring! And with Jim's, it puts things in

perspective. What lofty (lol) goals, to climb the highest mountains,

follow every river... no, wait, I could make a song out of this!

I love being on this site. I don't respond a lot to the postings, but

they are what keeps me in line, resolves the little problems that crop

up along the journey, and bring a smile to my face. Thanx.

Bobbe,

How are you??? I know you left the meeting early and felt that

you weren't feeling up to par. I hope it was just the trip

that wore you out.I love reading when you are cheering up

everyone. You take care of yourself, and we will see you next

month.

Keep being the loser that we are all and God bless,

Hi Rick,

What exactly do you mean when you say your ribs are still sore?? If you

have that dull right upper quadrant ache your liver is probably somewhat

enlarged and pressing against the capsule that surrounds the liver. The

liver itself has no pain nerves but the capsule does and translates the

pressure from a swollen liver into a dull ache that sometimes just doesn't

seem to go away.

BobK

Lee (a world class billiard player, who has had multiple surgeries),

Isabella Rossellini, Larraine Newman (ex-Sat Night Live). I understand that

Rossellini doesn't like to talk about it? If so, too bad. I can't remember

anyone else - but I know there's more....

Rene Russo has scoliosis. So does the cellist Yo Yo Ma. Offhand, I can't

think of any other celebs who have been open about it, but I'm sure there

are some out there who have it. Has anyone else heard of any?

Hello all,

Gellar has scoliosis, but no fusion, and Isabella Rosselini

sp? had a fusion many years ago with no hardware. I remember her talking

about the cumbersome plaster cast she had to wear on an interview show.

Also, one of the Duchess of York's (Fergie " ) daughters had scoliosis and I

believe was fused a couple of years ago.

Hey Group. . .(FYI/my 2 cents only)

Years ago, gold brain serving me right; I remember the CML Xpert in the UK

stated that the FISH Test is obsolete for us once we reach '0/Negative' on it.

This test only examines 200 cells and had given a false positive of 8% to me and

several Colon Survivors in late 2005 at my H/O office. My Drs partner got on the

phone to the lab, because his patients had been negative for years. I only have

RT-PCR Test done now because 100,000 to 1,000,000 Million cells are xamined out

of the 3-Trillion in our body's.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to ALL ! ! !
